How CLUTCH Saved My Marathon (No More Chafe!)
You know that moment when your sockette has migrated somewhere near your arch, your bike shorts have turned into a bikini, and you have exactly zero hands free to fix any of it?
That was me. Halfway through my first marathon, held together by sheer stubbornness and, as it turns out, CLUTCH Glue that refused to quit.
Let me tell you what actually held up:
The sock situation (aka the great sockette escape)
Sockettes are cute until they slide down into your shoe and turn into a sweaty little heel blister factory. Every runner knows the horror.
Here's the hack: a thin swipe of CLUTCH on the inside back of your sock where it hugs your heel. Wait til it goes tacky (30 seconds, don't rush it), then slip your foot in.
Because CLUTCH holds through sweat, that sockette stayed exactly where I put it for the entire marathon. No bunching, no blister, no crying in a portaloo. Game changer.
The riding up bike shorts
No one needs the great bike short camel toe slowing them down. To keep them from riding up simply apply CLUTCH along the full inner hem on both legs. For looser running shorts, focus on the outer hem where the riding tends to start. A thin even layer spread generously with the applicator is all you need.
And because thighs deserve backup too, a swipe between them means no chafe over long distances. Your thick thighs and your finish photos will thank you.
The moral of the story
Whether you're running 42km or just running late, CLUTCH keeps your kit exactly where you want it.
